Food deceives us, either through our assumptions or its looks. Dr. David Katz notes that food often looks healthier than it is thanks to well-placed garnishes:
I have long observed that food, or at times pseudo-food, is often garnished with far better food. In fact, the bright green curlicues of leafy greens and herbs (e.g., kale and parsley) are some of the most nutritious foods on the planet. Eat the garnish, skip the food[.]
You shouldn't judge a food by its looks in the first place, but some restaurants promote dishes as healthy because they contain something healthy. In reality, they may contain more bad foods than good. Know the components of what you're eating, choose wisely, and you should end up with a healthier diet.
